Alex Nehorayan
Founder, CEO
Alex began his career in commercial real estate and multi-family properties before getting involved in the sports industry 15 years ago. He has helped athletes find temporary housing, provided financial guidance and personal assistance, and helped player agents with business affairs. Alex also founded a global beverage and OTP manufacturing company with distribution throughout the United States and South America.
Jonah Nehorayan
Co-founder
Jonah studied Sports Administration at Pepperdine University under Ned Colletti, former General Manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers. While at Pepperdine, Jonah designed an award-winning marketing plan for Team USA Handball that was submitted for use and a bid proposal for a regional round of March Madness. Jonah has worked in the sports and real estate industries at his father’s side for the last five years during which he generated the initial concept for ScoutUs Pro.
Rob Michaelis
COO
Rob is Vice President of Commercialization at Disney Consumer Products where he has worked for the past 15 years. Prior to joining Disney, Rob held various senior sales and marketing positions at Fila, K-Swiss and Reebok. He holds a Bachelors of Arts from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and remains a proud fan of the New York Knicks, Jets, Mets and Islanders.
Aidas Mattis
Executive Vice President
Aidas J. Mattis is a physician and entrepreneur whose love of sport has been an important part of his and his family’s life. Aidas completed his undergraduate studies in molecular and cell biology at the University of California Berkeley and his medical and doctoral education in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Additionally, Aidas owns and operates several retail and manufacturing business in US.
Barry Levine
Executive Director of Business Development and Finance
Barry was born in Brooklyn, New York, raised on Long Island and completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo. In the mid-1970s, Barry moved to Los Angeles and in 1980, he formed Oakwood Financial Group, a private investment company specializing in unconventional “bridge” financing for the residential, commercial and industrial real estate markets throughout Southern California. For the past forty years, Oakwood has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate financing to both public companies, private trusts, profit, and non-profit organizations, as well as to a wide variety of real estate investment and development organizations. Barry lives in Los Angeles with his wife, children and grandchildren, but having grown up in the shadow of Shea Stadium during the 1969 “Miracle” Mets World Series win and the 1970 Joe Namath guaranteed” Jets Super Bowl upset, Barry remains a loyal Mets and Jets fan.
Matt Brahe
Director, Finance
Matt is currently the Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis at The Walt Disney Company where he has worked for the past 15 years in a variety of executive level finance roles across Consumer Products, Video Games, Theme Parks and Corporate functions. Matt has an MBA from the University of Southern California and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge.
Reggie Smith
Director, Baseball Operations
Reggie played 17 seasons of Major League Baseball with the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants. One of the most versatile players to ever play the game, Reggie was a career .287 hitter with 314 home runs (third among switch-hitters on the all-time list) and 1,092 RBI, and was spectacular defensively, winning the first-ever Gold Glove Award in 1986. After his playing career ended, Reggie coached for USA Olympic Baseball, the Dodgers and others. Reggie continues influencing the game he loves today by running baseball clinics around the world.
Cory Wade
Director, Baseball Operations
Cory played 12 seasons of professional baseball, four of them at the Major League level with the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers. Cory is now entering his eighth season as a professional baseball scout with the San Diego Padres organization. Cory is originally from Indianapolis and now resides in Zionville, IN.
Marvin Bernard
Director, Baseball Operations LATAM
Marvin is a Nicaraguan-born professional baseball outfielder who played in the Major Leagues from 1995 to 2003 with the San Francisco Giants, Chicago White Sox and Toronto Blue Jays. Hitting leadoff with power, Marvin played all three outfield positions and wreaked havoc on the basepaths. After his playing career, Marvin moved into coaching with the San Diego Padres and then managed the 2016 Nicaraguan national baseball team. Marvin is currently the color commentator for the Giants’ Spanish-language radio broadcasts.
Tarah McShane
Director, Softball Operations
Tarah McShane played for 4 years at Valparaiso University. McShane has spent 6 years coaching Softball at the Division l level for various Universities. Tarah earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and went on to complete a master’s degree in Sports Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude. McShane is originally from the Chicago area but now resides in Schaumburg, IL with her two-year-old son. McShane enjoys giving back to the game that has provided her with some of her most fondest memories in life.
Brad Friedel
Director, Soccer Operations
Brad played 23 seasons of professional soccer at the highest level with teams such as Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur in Europe and Columbus Crew in the United States. He is considered one of the greatest goalkeepers to have played in the English Premier League where he holds the record for most consecutive matches played (310). He also holds three levels of UEFA coaching licenses and has coached at the pro (MLA) and national team (US MINT U19) level. Brad currently owns and operates the US Office of PromoEsport USA, and has also worked in media and television for major broadcasters.
Adam Najem
Director, Soccer Operations in Asia-Pacific
Adam is currently in his 8th season as a professional soccer player. He began his professional career in the United States at the Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer. In the following years, he played both within and outside the United States. His international career began at age 14 when playing for the US Youth National team up until U20 representing the US in various tournaments. Adam has since transitioned to represent the Afghanistan National Team where he plays in matches throughout Asia in both Asian Cup qualifying and World Cup qualifying games. His overseas career continued when he signed in Poland to gain European exposure. After Poland, he played in Canada, and followed his true passion where he landed in Southeast Asia. Presently, Adam plays for a first division team in Indonesia. Adam has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, Marketing Management, from the University of Akron, where he was a first-team All-American up until he signed for the Philadelphia Union. Adam has spent his career both training and competing, and working on business strategies to facilitate the development of young athletes on the precipice of their professional careers.
Erick Molinar
Director, Boxing Operations
Erick is an American boxing advisor and businessman born and raised in Boyle Heights. Erick attended the Oscar de la Hoya Youth Boxing Gym where he developed his boxing skills and a keen interest in helping young fighters reach their full potential. Erick has an eye for scouting talent in boxing, signing on of GoldenBoys current World Champions.
Joel De La Hoya Jr
Director, Boxing Operations
Joel De La Hoya Jr. is a name that resonates not just because he is the older brother of boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya, but also for his own considerable contributions to the world of boxing. He has been a cornerstone of Golden Boy Promotions, which he co-owns with Oscar. The promotional company has set the stage for numerous iconic fights, bringing the art and grit of boxing to fans worldwide. Joel grew up in a family deeply rooted in the sport of boxing. However, instead of stepping into the ring, Joel chose a different path. He leveraged his in-depth understanding of the sport to become a business partner at Golden Boy Promotions, one of the most successful boxing promotion companies today. Not merely content with business decisions, Joel has extended his skill set to include management roles. He has been instrumental in shaping the career of Diego De La Hoya, another talent from the De La Hoya family, who has made significant strides in the boxing scene. Joel’s expertise stretches from fight promotion to athlete management, making him a versatile and essential figure in the boxing community.
Garry Gant

Garry has been a sports marketing executive for over 20 years, building client and media relationships, planning and implementing events, selling sponsorships and managing athlete programs and priorties. Garry holds an Associate of Arts degree from National Institute of Technology and lives in Southern California.
Claudio Aversa

Claudio earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Physiology from Cal State Poly-Technic University, Pomona. This academic foundation seamlessly integrates with the sporting heart of ScoutUsPro. Prior to his significant role at ScoutUsPro, Claudio navigated through varied domains. He established The Hindsight Podcast, aiming to grant pivotal career insights to college students and young adults. Moreover, he co-founded California Blendz, a budding e-commerce startup, which he later sold, showcasing a clear aptitude for product marketing. With expertise ranging from Product Management to Digital Marketing, Claudio brings a rich tapestry of skills to the table. His comprehensive prowess and steadfast commitment fortify his crucial position at ScoutUsPro and within the broader sports industry.
Daniel Leon

Daniel León is a man dedicated to his home with solid values and a deep commitment to his family. At 39 years old, together with his wife, he is the owner of the Textil Encatex company, skillfully leading sales strategies, his focus on the commercial area allows him to perform with excellence in Commercial Management.With studies in multimedia design, he brings a creative perspective that allows him to work in any professional field. It is inspiring to see how he balances his commitment to family, work and his love of sports.
Adeyinka Adewusi
Director, Operations Africa
Adeyinka Adewusi played for the Nigerian National Team (1998 – 2007), Cape Town Major League, South Africa (2004 – 2010) and Swedis Elite Series (2007 – 2010).While with the Student YMCA (2007-2010), he served as a student instructor at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa.Yinka as he is fondly called, then returned to his native Nigeria to develop baseball there, founding the Angels Youth Baseball Factory (2011 – Present), and FFM Africa Project (2012 – Present) where he continues to seek to instil whole life skills in youths. Yinka served as a West Africa consultant/ Envoy Coach for Major League Baseball (May 2013 – 2017) where he was creating relationships with local coaches, working with grassroots athletes, implementing coach development programs, marketing and promoting Baseball, visiting the school sytems, identifying and scouting players that may have opportunity to be part of the MLB international Elite Academy in South Africa and beyond. Adeyinka later Joined Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau (May 2017 – Dec 2018).Yinka is currently serving as the Chairman, WBSC Africa Technical, Development and Competion Commission. He is also currently the Vice Chairman of Kwara State Baseball and Softball Association, Nigeria.
Anibal Vega
Director, Operations Nigaracua
Anibal Vega was a Nicaraguan baseball player and he was born in Managua, Nicaragua in 1969. Anibal attended Sonoma State University in California where he was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers, but after an injury he returned to Nicaragua to play for 17 years. Anibal played for the Nicaraguan Olympic Team in 1996 and the World Cup in 1994 and 1998. He is also a member of the Nicaraguan Baseball Hall of Fame and the General Manager of the Nicaraguan team in the 2023 World Classic.
Alann Guerrero
Director, Operations Venezuela
Since 2019, Alann Guerrero has been working as a Development Coach and collaborating with professional athletes such as Miguel Socolovich, Francisco "K-Rod" Rodriguez and Miguel Rojas. In November 2022, he was certified as a Scout and has had advanced scouting experience in the Summer League of Venezuela (LMBP) reporting for Toros del Este of the LiDom.
David Azar
General Counsel
David is a Los Angeles-based attorney who both litigates disputes and provides general counsel services to businesses. He received his J.D. degree in 1999 from Duke University School of Law (magna cum laude and Order of the Coif), after which he clerked for Chief Justice Norma Veasey on the Delaware Supreme Court. He is co-author of the chapters on LLC and partnership disputes in Litigating and Judging California Business Entity Governance Disputes, published by LexisNexis/ Matthew Bender.
Robin Ann Gorelick
General Counsel
Robin has owned and operated the Law Offices of Gorelick & Associates for the past 13 years, providing specialized business and commercial legal services including securities filings for public and private companies, technology, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and general corporate and business advice. Prior to running her own firm, Robin held senior legal counsel positions at Resources Global Professionals, Beachbody and Euro International. Robin holds a BA from UCLA and a JD from the UCLA School of Law and is a proud Bruin.
Sandy Fox

Samuel (Sandy) Fox is a sports and media lawyer, business advisor and founder of Refugee Sports Network, a media platform to benefit refugees. His professional focus is on helping businesses adapt to an ever-changing marketplace brought on by innovation, technology and changing consumer tastes. His theory is that the adjustment to these trends does not always require radical change in business operations and his first inflection point is to explore “organic” moves (aka tweaking) that allow for adaptation while promoting efficiency and cost savings. Clients have included sports leagues and brands, media companies, entertainment venues, video productions and celebrities and superstars ranging from a king and a governor to a rap legend, comedy kingpins and international icons. He has also help build licensing companies that have generated billions of dollars in revenue and include some of the world’s largest retailers. Products include merchandise, food, hygiene products, and perfumes.
Pedram Zivari

Chief counsel and managing partner of Zivari Law Group, P.C., for the past 13 years, Mr. Zivari brings extensive experience in civil litigation, business litigation, construction law and real estate matters. Mr. Zivari has earned a Bachelor’s of Art in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003 where he earned numerous honors. Mr. Zivari earned a degree of Juris Doctor from Glendale University College of Law while receiving numerous awards and honors throughout his tenure. From 2003 to 2009, Mr. Zivari was employed as a Project Engineer on construction projects for various government agencies. As a Project Engineer, Mr. Zivari was involved in over $35 million of construction projects for clients, including City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, City of Santa Monica, City of Beverly Hills and California State University.
Joel Sachs

Joel Sachs has over 40 years of experience in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Estate Administration, Estate and Gift Taxation, Individual and Business Tax Planning, charitable giving, nonprofit organizations, and Dispute Resolutions with the IRS, Franchise Tax Board, Stated Board of Equalization and other administrative agencies. In addition, Mr. Sachs’ practice encompasses dispute resolution among beneficiaries and other interested parties of estates and trusts. nMr. Sachs received his B.A. degree from the University of Florida in 1963 and, in 1966, he received his J.D. degree, also from the University of Florida. He was a member of the University of Florida Law Review and Florida Blue Key leadership fraternity. In one of his prior lives, Mr. Sachs worked as an estate tax attorney in the Los Angeles office of the Internal Revenue Service. During that period, he had extensive experience in both the administrative workings of the IRS and also dealt with the legal and factual issues involving large business and personal holdings.
